"Nice boutique-style hotel"
I have just returned from staying at this hotel with my girlfriend. We stayed for 4 nights and paid E190 per night which was reasonable value in my opinion.
I certainly would not recommend that the hotel represents good value if one were to pay the rates which are posted on the hotel website and in the lobby of the hotel itself (E255 and E296 in low and high season respectively).
The room, in my opinion, was smallish although it may very well have been a good size for a Parisian room. All the usual - cable tv, fax / phone and some nice extras - pillows, robes, chocolates on the pillows.
We got a couple of very good breakfasts (delicious croissants, pain aux chocolats etc) which we took informally in the bar / lobby area and not in the designated breakfast room. The breakfasts appeared not to have been charged to the bill, despite it being brought to the attention of staff at check-out, so we were delighted with that.
Staff were very helpful and willing.
We found the nearby Place de Clichy metro station (left out the door of the hotel, right up rue de clichy and into the square where the station is) very good. Apparently, Liege Metro is nearer but Place de Clichy is better for connections to other lines and getting into the town centre quickly. Liege is a "stand-alone" station and you would have to travel a good deal down the line Liege is on and then transfer to get where you would probably need to be going.
All in all, I would certainly recommend this hotel and go there again.

"Stylish Boutique Hotel conveniently located"
The Pavillon de Paris is a small, but very stylish boutique hotel, conveniently located near the Place de Clichy metro in Paris and Montmatre. It's chic, without being pretentious, and the staff are considerate, helpful and attentive, and made us feel extremely welcome without being overbearing.
The rooms are small, but simply and effortlessly decorated and the beds are unbelievably comfty, especially after a full day walking round the sites of Paris! And there is a well stocked mini bar with various drinks and snacks.
If there's nothing in the mini bar that grabs you, the bar area, just off the lobby, is a great place to unwind, with a gorgeous cocktail, of which we sampled a couple!
I would recommend contacting the hotel directly to secure the best rates (we managed to get a rate of 170 euros per night which was quite a bit cheaper) as it is quite pricey but worth it. I have stayed in quite a lot of beautiful hotels, so I am quite particular, but the Pavillon de Paris is definitely somewhere I will return to.
